HR Training and Development

In small and medium sized businesses, HR often falls to someone who has other responsibilities – such as the office manager or controller; or, if there is a dedicated HR professional, they are often junior in experience or find themselves as the only HR person within the firm. Where do they turn for HR training and development?

Our experience has found that one-day classes or classroom learning does not always translate into the development of HR skills required by an organization or individual. In response to this, we have developed an HR training program for the non-HR professional. The program focuses on key HR areas, including but not limited to:

  • Organizational Development
  • Structure and Compliance
  • Attracting and Interviewing
  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Successful Onboarding
  • Performance Management
  • Retention
  • Termination and Release

This training will be supported by our own HR Toolkit and delivered over a 16 week or 8 month period, depending on the operational needs and availability of the individual we are training.

As seasoned trainers, we will develop your non-HR professionals to become HR assets and help your HR leadership grow with your company’s needs.

Recently, an employee gave two weeks’ notice at the same time I was leaving for vacation. I contacted HRfx and provided them all the details to start the RPO process. When I returned after two weeks, I had several candidates to interview and I hired a great applicant from the short list that was given to me.
The HRfx team removed the stress off my plate and I could enjoy my vacation.
