New Year, New HR Plan Blog | January 13, 2015

In most businesses, employee/labour related expenses (salaries, benefits, taxes) make up a large portion of the organization’s variable expense, yet often small and mid sized businesses do not have an HR or ‘people’ plan for their organization, leaving them vulnerable to turnover, inefficiencies, and increased costs. A HR Plan plays a vital role in the achievement of an organization’s overall strategic and tactical goals and objectives, ensuring the business has:

  • the right people in place at the right time;
  • plans for growth or turnover;
  • the right mix of skills;
  • employees display the right attitudes and behaviours (culture), and
  • employees are developed in the right way.

The start of the new year is a great time to start an HR Plan.

We can help.

Recently, an employee gave two weeks’ notice at the same time I was leaving for vacation. I contacted HRfx and provided them all the details to start the RPO process. When I returned after two weeks, I had several candidates to interview and I hired a great applicant from the short list that was given to me.
The HRfx team removed the stress off my plate and I could enjoy my vacation.
